From Century-Old Shell to Turnkey Home
Summerville Contractors delivered a full deep retrofit of this 100-year-old Navan property, taking it from an E-rated home in need of comprehensive overhaul to a fully modernised, turnkey-finished family residence.
The scope of works was extensive. The house was stripped completely back to its shell — floors dug out, internal walls removed, and the roof taken off and rebuilt. From there, the property was re-insulated throughout, fitted with a new heat pump and underfloor heating system, and finished with new windows, doors, and roof lights. Full first and second-fix electrical and plumbing installations were carried out alongside.
The interior was completed to turnkey standard, including new bathrooms, tiling, decoration, and external paving — ready for the family to move straight in.
