Who We Are
Summerville Contractors was founded in 2000 by brothers Mick and Paddy Summerville. After years working as carpenters for other companies, we set out on our own to build a business based on good work and straight dealing.
We started in carpentry and roofing, working on new builds, one-off houses, and developments across Meath and surrounding counties. As the business grew, so did the team. Several of our apprentices have come up through the trade with us and are still here today.
Over time we expanded into extensions, renovations, deep retrofits, and full new builds — taking projects from groundbreak to turnkey finish. We were one of the first certified Velux installers in Ireland and still are, with over 25 years of accredited installation experience. We are also SEAI Registered Contractors, working to current energy standards across our retrofit and renovation projects.
With more than 30 years in the trade and a long-standing team behind us, we deliver projects we're proud to put our name on.
